Independent Living:

It all starts with your choice of living arrangements. Calder Woods offers independent living apartment residences with a variety of floor plans, from cozy studios to deluxe two-bedrooms with dens … so there’s sure to be one that suits your personal taste and style.
Assisted Living:
When it comes to preserving independence, a little help can make a big difference. At Calder Woods, the licensed assisted living program ensures that the personalized assistance residents need is available 24 hours a day.
With the flexibility of two available service plans – and a choice of alcove or one-bedroom apartment homes – assisted living at Calder Woods offer a maintenance-free lifestyle and homestyle comfort. Each apartment home is fully featured, with a private bath and kitchenette, and designed for easy access.
For one simple monthly fee, residents are assured of a wide range of vital support services, including assistance from a specially trained, respectful staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; medication supervision; three daily meals with available special diets; daily personal laundry and housekeeping and scheduled transportation. And, should a higher or long-term level of care become necessary, it’s available at Calder Woods – without the disruption of moving to a different community. Rehabilitation services are also available on-site for occupational, physical or speech therapy.
Harbor Living:
At The Harbor we provide certified Alzheimer’s Assisted Living to offer residents a higher quality of life – and their families more peace of mind. With a specially-designed, protected setting that minimizes confusion and maximizes safety and a staff specially trained in the latest developments in memory care, we offer a new standard for help and hope.
From a beautiful, secured courtyard, complete with gardens, that encourages outdoor activity to a varied range of activities like arts and crafts, pet therapy, Bible study, memory games and exercises to promote social interaction and more, The Harbor lifestyle reflects our commitment to making life more rewarding and meaningful for every resident.
Skilled Care at Calder Woods:
When changing needs demand a higher-level of care, the skilled care center is there: with exceptional private and semi-private accommodations and a reassuring standard of excellence in professional care.
Personalized nursing services are coordinated by a Director of Nurses, under the direction of the resident’s personal physician, with licensed nurses on duty 24-hours a day. A high staff-to-resident ratio ensures personal attention and the best of care. A registered dietitian advises on menu planning and meal preparation, including healthful snacks. Additional services such as physical, occupational and speech therapy and social services are available as needed.
A range of activities that includes games, birthday celebrations, varied entertainment, vesper services, arts and crafts, exercises and outings assure residents of a higher quality of life; while the reputation and resources of Buckner Retirement Services guarantees those that love them more peace of mind.
