The Meadows is not a nursing home or a convalescent center, but an intimate, elegant living community designed for independent seniors.
At The Meadows, our residents enjoy a comfortable apartment with all the conveniences, and they are encouraged to decorate with their own furniture, paintings, and special memories. At The Meadows, we strive to make our residents feel completely at home.
Our residents are on the go! Our monthly calendar is packed with activities. Exercise classes, Bible studies, shopping trips, bingo, movie, matinees, trivia, arts & crafts, church services, music groups, folk singers, and more. Our residents are free to come and go as they please. Transportation in our "Fun Bus" is provided for medical appointments, shopping trips, banking needs, weekly road trips, etc.
While we encourage an independent lifestyle, our utmost concern is the safety and well-being of our residents. The Meadows is staffed 24 hours a day to ensure their needs are met.
The resident's home extends beyond their suite and includes the free use of our our activity room, living rooms, library, TV room, exercise room, and a private dining room. A beauty and barber shop is available for their convenience.
Life at The Meadows is enjoyable, convenient, and affordable. Unlike other retirement centers, we require no up-front buy-in fee, no long term leases, and there is no requirement to dispose of your assets.
The monthly rental fee includes a 3 meal a day, snacks available anytime, paid cable TV, housekeeping, laundry services, transportation, social activities, and all utilities except personal telephone. We have no hidden charges. The Meadows Management Team has more than 50 years of experience in caring for Senior Adults. Come home to an independent living at it's finest.
